This weekend was the FSF in Apalachicola. If you didn't know, Apalachicola is THE place to get oysters. So, off we - my mom and I - went expecting to sample oysters in many different ways. Nope. Only one food booth even had oysters. The were served on the half shell. That's it. Hmpf. We had some tasty deep fried sweet potatoes. A Philly Cheese Steak sandwich and a couple of fried oreos. Not what we expected at all but fun none the less. We took the scenic route home and decided to stop at Mexico Beach. Did a lot of beaching walking and general goofing off. A great day indeed.
