The Freakin' Snow

Well, here are some pictures of the snowstorm. We got about 22 inches of snow. The strangest thing of all was the lightning and thunder that came with the second round of storms. Don't recall ever seeing snow and lightning at the same time. As you can see, it buried most of the property. Needless to say, we are stuck here for awhile. The only bad part about country living. Some day my car will be freed from the snow prison. John had to get on top of the roof to unbury our intake for the furnace. When he woke up this morning, it was quite chilly inside. Wish I would have got a picture of that. ha ha On a brighter note, it's supposed to be 56 degrees next Wednesday. I will have a lake outside for sure. Anyone up for some swimming?
